Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with quality, GMP, AIB, and safety guidelines
Troubleshoot, repair and conduct preventive maintenance on production and utility equipment, including mechanical failures, electrical issues up to 480 V, and PLC issues
Review project instructions, blueprints, electrical and pneumatic schematics to determine test specifications and solutions
Assist Maintenance Reliability Team Leader and Plant Engineers with root‑cause analysis of equipment failures
Document test procedures and results, and recommend changes in product or test methods
Fabricate machine parts as needed (welding, machining) and modify electrical and power transmission systems
Participate in team activities related to line/area performance improvement (autonomous maintenance, housekeeping, shop sanitation, problem solving, shift transition meetings)
Maintain spare‑parts inventory and restock as required
Complete all regulatory and compliance documentation accurately
Ensure correct planned maintenance (PM) entries in SAP and audit work‑order completion
Support operators and transfer knowledge to operation technicians
Minimum Education Required
High School diploma or GED
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent – required
1+ year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant OR
vocational/technical degree in industrial maintenance with a successful internship OR
vocational/technical degree in industrial maintenance and 3+ years of general manufacturing experience
Ability to work a 2‑2‑3 off‑shift schedule, including weekends – required
Basic math and computer skills – required
1+ years manufacturing experience in food, pet food, or pharmaceuticals – preferred
Physical requirements: bend, climb, crawl, work in confined spaces, hazardous conditions up to 12 hours/day; lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly; work with hands overhead; use forklift intermittently; type on keyboard intermittently; walk unlimited distances; climb ladders with tie‑off equipment when required; bend at waist 90° and flex knees 120°; wear required PPE; perceive alarms while wearing hearing protection; receive and transmit information orally and by phone – all required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $31.70 – $ USD (based on experience, qualifications, and location)
