About the Role

Work with kitchen staff and servers to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow for TRUSS Restaurant + Bar. Inspect dishes before they are served to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards. Perform a range of duties which may include assisting guests with orders, taking feedback, and preparing table set‑ups. Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and attend to guest needs and requests with a sense of urgency in the resort’s Food & Beverage areas.
What You Will Do

Communicate clearly and efficiently with FOH, BOH and guests.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Assist in the set up and break down of the kitchen pass.
Assist with set up of restaurant for service.
Assist with polishing silverware and glassware before and after service.
Polish and stock linen, plates, silverware and glassware for service.
Prepare garnishes for service.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the restaurant during the shift.
Retrieve food from the kitchen and safely transport it to guests, as well as remove items from the guest’s table.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
Coordinate BOH and servers to maintain efficient service. Maintain a clear and open line of communication between the FOH and BOH, and assist with any order issues.
Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and consistency.
Inform the culinary team of the pace and flow of service, and dictate the flow if necessary.
What You Bring

Minimum one‑year food and beverage service or equivalent experience.
Specific knowledge of menu items and possible allergies.
Skills and Abilities

Minimum one year’s food service or related work.
Ability to communicate professionally and accurately.
Job requires ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.
Previous experience in a luxury environment, highly desirable.
High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education preferred.
Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume and demanding environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.

Schedule & Hours

Full‑time availability.
Flexible for early morning, mid‑day, and evening shifts to support 24/7 operational business needs.
