
Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is a mid-level, quota-carrying role responsible for building and sustaining a healthy sales pipeline, managing the full pre-close sales motion, and developing the tactical and operational processes that drive repeatable revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of outbound sales execution and strategic business development, owning prospecting through qualified handoff while also building the infrastructure and partner relationships that support long-term expansion.
This is not a pure SDR role. The right candidate brings SaaS sales experience, a strong outbound instinct, and the operational maturity to build process, not just follow it.

Qualifications
Required
3–5+ years in a B2B SaaS sales or business development role (SDR, BDR, or AE experience)
Demonstrated track record of hitting pipeline and meeting targets
Experience with outbound prospecting tools and CRM (HubSpot strongly preferred)
Comfortable running discovery calls and articulating SaaS value propositions
Strong written and verbal communication skills — your outreach has to actually get replies
Operational mindset: you document, iterate, and improve your own process
Works well in GTM team setting where high amount of collaboration is expected
Familiarity with SaaS sales motions including PLG, outbound-led, and success-led expansion
Preferred
Experience building or contributing to partner/channel programs
Prior experience in a startup or lean team environment where you wore multiple hats
