Warehouse Maintenance Technician
Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in North Aurora, IL.
Pay and Schedule
Hourly Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: First Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Equipment and Experience
Equipment: Scissor Lift, Laptop. Requires 2 years of building maintenance and general HVAC and electrical repair experience.
Must have a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle within the area.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
8-10 years plant/warehouse general maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
Ability to make quick, reliable decisions that represent both the customer and Ryder.
Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
Vocational or technical certification preferred.
Experience operating forklift equipment required.
Equipment certification may be required.
Responsibilities
Performs maintenance and troubleshooting functions on all warehousing equipment independently and effectively.
Maintains and troubleshoots plant utility systems including fire protection, water, electrical, air, and vacuum as applicable.
Understands shop maintenance, parts inventory, parts ordering, and plant reporting systems.
Performs routine forklift repairs.
Maintains batteries and related equipment.
Performs routine preventive maintenance (PM) and maintains records of repairs.
If required, provides training, including aspects of safety, quality, sanitation, and efficiency of packaging/warehouse equipment, for operations associates.
Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.
