Position Overview
Our Landscape Construction Superintendents play a critical role in delivering high‑quality commercial landscape construction projects. They lead field operations, working closely with crews, clients, and project managers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple aspects of construction while maintaining a focus on quality results and team success.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of commercial landscape construction projects
Supervise, train, and manage field crews and foremen to ensure productivity and accountability
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to guide project execution
Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines and budgets
Inspect and verify all material deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards; maintain safety documentation
Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance
Track labor hours, production, and job costs to support project profitability
Lead weekly safety meetings and ongoing field training efforts
Proactively identify and resolve job site challenges
Qualifications
Proven track record managing commercial construction projects
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Effective communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Certifications such OSHA 30 are a plus
