
Field Service Technician

We are seeking an IT Field Services & Onsite Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support at client locations. This role involves onsite and remote support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring reliable IT operations with a strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite IT support at client locations (travel up to 120 miles)
Install, configure, image, and support Windows & macOS systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and AV issues
Perform “hands & feet” support for network installations and testing
Coordinate with internal IT teams and third‑party vendors
Manage IT assets, inventory, hardware refresh, and depot operations
Deliver VIP/executive support as needed
Update and resolve tickets within SLA, maintaining low backlog
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of IT field/deskside support experience
Strong troubleshooting skills (Windows, macOS)
Experience with OS imaging and deployments
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred
Technical certifications
Telecom or field service technician experience
Additional Requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to lift equipment
Comfortable with ladders and cabling work
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to HCL policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to HCL policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off (PTO) per year (some positions are eligible for unlimited PTO); and 10 paid holidays per year.
