Position: Deli Manager Assistant
Main Responsibilities
Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness.
Assist customers with product suggestions, special orders, and food preparation.
Handle customer complaints and escalate to Store Director as needed.
Support department operations including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of deli area and equipment.
Monitor and maintain proper temperatures during food preparation, display, and storage.
Assist with scheduling, supervising, training, and assigning duties to department employees.
Prepare and maintain sales and inventory reports; participate in physical inventory every four weeks.
Control inventory levels to ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with company directives.
Implement promotional and seasonal displays and ensure compliance with labeling laws and company policies.

Educational Requirements
Food safety certification.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required.
Other Requirements
Must comply with grooming and dress code standards.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Good attendance is required.
