
QC Technician

Position Summary
The QC Technician ensures compliance with quality and food safety standards by performing inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials and finished products. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goods
Compare test results to specifications and document findings
Maintain accurate quality records and generate reports
Conduct sanitation and quality audits
Monitor production lines for compliance with procedures
Perform equipment calibration and verification checks
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Ensure adherence to GMP and safety standards
Assist with recalls, mock recalls, and certification processes
Enter and manage production/quality data in systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership
Qualifications
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in science preferred
1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, quality, or packaging
Knowledge of GMPs and quality systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Work Environment & Notes
Exposure to production environment and food allergens
Combination of office and production floor work
Requires adherence to strict safety and PPE guidelines
