As a Locum Physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, you will support a dedicated team during a vital recruitment period, ensuring high-risk pregnancies receive expert attention and exceptional care. Required Skills:

• Board-certified or eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty training
• Proven expertise in high-risk pregnancy management, including procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
• Proficiency in fetal ultrasound imaging (GE 10 equipment preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC and Viewpoint

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in performing cerclage procedures
• Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation protocols
• Previous experience in hospitalist or inpatient settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Obstetrics and Gynecology
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in high-risk pregnancy management

Other Requirements:

• Eligibility for licensure in Virginia
• Certification in fetal ultrasound (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible hours on scheduled dates starting from March 6, 2026
• Travel reimbursements including flight, hotel, rental car, or mileage (billed at IRS standard rate)
