We are seeking a LocumsEmergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a busy emergency departmentin Cambridge, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking night andweekend coverage with a consistent schedule. Providers should be available for aminimum of 5 shifts per month with ongoing availability for 12+ months.
The physician willwork alongside advanced practice providers and a supportive emergencydepartment team to deliver high-quality emergency care.
Schedule
- Physician Shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Coverage Needed: Nights and weekends
- Weekend Requirements: Yes
- On-Call Requirements: None
- Minimum Commitment: 5+ shifts per month with long-term availability
Emergency DepartmentDetails
- Annual ED Volume: 24,500 - 25,500 visits
- Average Daily Volume: 55-60 patients per 24 hours
- Number of ED Beds: 17
ClinicalResponsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists
- Document patient encounters using the MEDITECH EMR system
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active Ohio medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
- Current certifications:
- ACLS
- ATLS
- BLS
- PALS
- COVID-19 vaccination required
