Team: Boeing’s Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) – Executive Transport & Surveillance (ET&S)
Role: Program Manager (Level K) – Responsible for overseeing all aspects of a Heavy Maintenance (HM) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract, including cost, schedule, risk, opportunity management and overall program maturity. Location: San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities
Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and improvement plans.
Manages, develops, and motivates employees.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience.
3+ years of experience in Program Management including cost, schedule and technical management.
3+ years of experience working with U.S. Government customers.
3+ years of experience with financial reporting.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for building people‑focused organizations and defining, building, executing and measuring against vision.
Minimum one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in production, modification and/or conversion of airplanes.
Proficient use of project management tools and best practices.
Experience developing and integrating strategic projects and initiatives to meet business goals.
3+ years leading projects in a collaborative multidisciplinary team including designers, engineers, writers, product managers and software developers.
Organizational skills with the capability to prioritize, facilitate and coordinate multiple projects.
Active Security Clearance preferred.
Job Details
This position is 100% onsite at San Antonio, TX. A U.S. Top Secret clearance is required post‑start. A U.S. Security Clearance is required for the role, with U.S. Citizenship mandatory. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
Shift: 1st Shift. Travel: up to 10% of work time.
Relocation: Offered based on candidate eligibility.
