Princeton Friends School is searching for a School Operations Coordinator to manage front‑desk operations, communications, scheduling, events, administrative duties, health and safety protocols, and to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

Front‑desk and community engagement: greet families, students and visitors; respond to daily requests; maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Communication, scheduling and events: handle schoolwide phone calls, emails and visitor coordination; lead the school‑wide calendar; coordinate logistics for events, meetings and conferences.

Operations and administrative support: track student attendance; manage school records and schedules; arrange substitute coverage; support faculty and administrators with supply ordering and day‑to‑day operational needs; handle mail and office equipment.

Health, safety and emergency preparedness: serve on the safety team; plan and run safety drills; monitor emergency alerts; maintain first‑aid, AED and CPR certifications; respond to student health concerns and emergencies.

Experience in an administrative, school or community‑facing role.

Warm, welcoming presence and strong communication skills with families, students and colleagues.

Initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Collaborative spirit, adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a small school.

Understanding or willingness to learn Quaker values and practices.

Physical Requirements

Sit, stand, bend, walk, talk, hear and operate office and medical equipment.

Move actively around classrooms and outdoor campus.

Lift up to 25 pounds.

Schedule & Compensation
Full‑time, 10‑ or 12‑month contract with a salary range of $40,000–$60,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, life and long‑term disability insurance, retirement match, childcare benefits, professional development, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.
