Job Description

Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.

Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.

May be assigned to assist in other departments as required.

Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.

Conducts vehicle inspections and reports safety issues and concerns to supervisor.

Maintains the care, cleanliness, and upkeep of the center’s vehicles.

Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.

Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.

Ensures that only authorized students are transported on and off center.

Keeps accurate log of students transported off of and returned to center.

Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.

Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.

Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.

Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.

Attends all required staff training opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience working with youth.

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements with an acceptable driving record.

With possession of Valid Driver’s License, CDL requirement may be temporarily waived if individual can obtain valid CDL with endorsements within ninety days of hire date.

Additional Information
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Extensive standing, sitting and continuous computer, phone, and desk work required. Work will be primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours. Will require one‑on‑one and group interaction with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Must be available for occasional out‑of‑office meetings, conferences, training, and other events as needed.
