We are seeking an experienced
Financial Planner
to join a top-producing advisory team within Barnum Financial Group – Tri State. This individual will play a critical role in leading the financial planning function for the team’s clients, delivering comprehensive and customized strategies to high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.
This role is ideal for a professional who is
currently serving in a financial planning capacity or holds the CFP® designation , and is looking to elevate their impact within a high-performing, growth-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the end-to-end
financial planning process
for the team’s clients
Analyze client data and develop tailored financial plans, including:
Investment strategies
Risk management and insurance planning
Estate and legacy planning
Prepare and present financial plans in client meetings alongside advisors
Conduct ongoing reviews and proactively identify new planning opportunities
Partner closely with advisors to implement recommendations and ensure follow-through
Maintain accurate client data within financial planning and CRM systems
Serve as a key resource for complex planning cases and advanced strategies
Qualifications
Fully securities licensed
(Series 7 & 66 required; Life/Health preferred)
CFP® designation required
or currently functioning in a dedicated
financial planning role
within a wealth management or advisory practice
3+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
Strong technical knowledge across planning disciplines (retirement, tax, estate, risk management)
Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client engagements
Demonstrates professionalism, ownership, and a team-first mindset
