Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accountant II located in Pueblo, CO. The Accountant II will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing fiscal data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks may include budget preparation, financial reporting, payroll processing, general ledger reconciliation, and assisting with audits. Additionally, the Accountant II will support the organization in improving financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable management
Experience preparing financial reports, budgets, and statements
Proficiency in reconciling accounts, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Familiarity with financial software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience in government or non-profit accounting is a plus
