Job Summary
Patient Account Specialist – Central Scheduler. Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM, Saturdays as needed. On‑site call center position handling outgoing customer calls to assist patients with registration, scheduling upcoming procedures, and processing surgery payments. Collaborates closely with medical insurance companies to verify policy information.

Key Responsibilities

Handle outgoing customer calls to assist patients with registration.

Schedule upcoming procedures.

Process surgery payments.

Verify medical insurance policy information in collaboration with medical insurance companies.

Qualifications

2+ years of medical office and registration insurance verification experience preferred.

Bilingual preferred.

Understanding of third‑party payer requirements and healthcare billing.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Works, Excel, database, and patient accounting systems.

Data entry and customer service skills.

Knowledge of collections and medical terminology preferred.

Education
High School or equivalent.
