Job Details
This position is for a full‑time Maintenance Technician II to work at Parkview Glendale, an affordable senior housing community in Glendale, CA. This is a Tax‑credit property. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience and have knowledge in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have basic computer skills. Salary range: $25.00 – $37.00 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $25.00 – $31.00 per hour, DOE. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

Responsibilities

All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.

Perform all interior repairs related to walls and doors.

Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches.

Change AC filters, check coils, clean and repair when necessary.

Perform annual unit inspections.

Ensure turnover of units in 5 days.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.

Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.

Clean DMV and reliable transportation.

HVAC certification plus.

Criminal Background Check Requirements
EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. Once a conditional offer is received, the candidate must submit and pass our background check and verify education & employment history. Certain roles may also require fingerprinting. If onsite housing is required, any household members over 18 years who will live onsite with the candidate must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening. Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting is a requirement of employment.

Drug Testing
All candidates who have received a conditional job offer must submit to drug testing within 72 hours from acceptance of the offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis. Satisfactory completion of drug testing is a requirement of employment.
