Local Delivery Driver (CDL w/Hazmat)
Location: Wichita, KS - West - Retail shop
Pay
$28 per hour
Schedule
Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Responsibilities
Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations.
Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.
Requirements
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications (Hazmat can be obtained post-offer).
Minimum one year of Class A or B professional driving experience within the last 5 years, with a clean driving record (no more than two convictions or accidents as described).
May consider a diploma from an accredited driving school with at least one year of prior driving experience within the last 5 years.
At least 21 years old.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Can routinely lift 25-75 lbs, occasionally 76+ lbs with equipment.
Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required.
Can work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must obtain a forklift operator certification.
Available for occasional overtime.
