Responsibilities

Assist in the cylinder requalification and repair process.

Manually and/or using material handling equipment, move industrial gas cylinders to different areas of the plant.

Load and unload cylinders from delivery trucks.

Safely operate forklift, hand‑truck, pallet‑jack, chain hoist, and other material handling equipment to move compressed and liquid industrial gas cylinders between delivery trucks, filling, and storage areas.

Transfer plant cylinders to various locations within the facility using a forklift.

Organize and streamline cylinders for efficient refilling and handling.

Notify supervisor if normal truck loading duties cannot be completed.

Replace pallet straps as necessary.

Accurately complete load sheets and distribute them to drivers at the end of shift.

Report equipment or facility defects to supervisor.

Report any accidents or injuries promptly.

Perform cylinder cleaning, painting, and general maintenance when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Ability to work in a drug‑free environment.

Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with aid of material handling equipment.

Customer‑service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues.

Efficient teamwork in a fast‑paced environment; detail‑oriented and well organized.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS, and procedure manuals.

Basic math and written communication skills.

Minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training (preferred).

Pay
Hourly base pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour (Nevada).
