
Community Coach I Full-Time IDD

InReach provides a wide variety of supports and services across the lifespan for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.
What We Need:
The Community Coach provides the support necessary to assist adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities. Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.
What You'll Do:
Work one-on-one or with small groups to provide support to customers for activities in the Charlotte area
Documentation of daily activities
Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization
Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan
Maintain the health and safety of everyone
Provide reliable transportation
Maintains credentials (training)
Assure confidentiality
Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:
One-year of experience working with I/DD & Special populations
A high school diploma or GED required
Reliable transportation and willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle during work hours
Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record

Hours:
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Location/Travel:
Charlotte and surrounding areas; will vary depending on customer needs
Rate:
$16.00 per hour
