MSP Network Engineer/Client Facing/Mid-Town

Join a ManagedService Provider headquartered in New York (Midtown), offering a hybrid full-time opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer. This MSP supports a diverse client base across finance, legal, and professional services, delivering high-availability networking solutions and infrastructure support. You’ll work with enterprise-grade technologies including Cisco Systems, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti, managing everything from core routing and switching to firewall configurations and secure remote access.
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in networking, preferably within an MSP environment
Strong knowledge of routing and switching (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP)
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or similar)
Experience with VPNs and secure remote access solutions
Solid troubleshooting skills across LAN/WAN environments
Ability to support multiple clients and prioritize effectively
Desired Skills & Experience
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSE
Experience with cloud networking (Azure or AWS)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SNMP
Exposure to VoIP systems and QoS configuration
Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell)
