Contact Center Associate
for our Melbourne Operations Center. The role involves representing SCCU to members, providing exceptional service via phone, fax, and mail, and cross‑selling SCCU products and services.
Contract Information
This is a six‑month contract‑to‑hire position. Multiple candidates are needed for first and second shift, with a shift differential for second shift positions.
Key Responsibilities
Handle member phone calls, faxes, and mail, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism.
Resolve member problems, research records, follow up on details, and report outcomes, providing creative solutions and turning call issues into opportunities to sustain profitable membership relationships.
Maintain current knowledge of SCCU lending and deposit account promotions, criteria, guidelines, procedures, and policies to provide accurate information and refer members appropriately to loans, mortgages, and deposit accounts.
Meet established call volume and wait‑time standards to ensure efficient call handling and quality service delivery.
Cross‑sell and promote SCCU products and services to potential and existing members through inbound inquiries or outbound calling programs, achieving personal sales goals and productivity standards.
Requirements
1–12 months of prior customer service experience, including at least 6 months in a call‑center environment.
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary: $22.18 – $23.48 per hour.
Eligible for one SCCU annual bonus.

First Shift: Monday–Friday 8 am‑6 pm, with Saturday rotation 9 am‑3 pm.
Second Shift: Monday–Friday 11 am‑8 pm, every Saturday 9 am‑5 pm, with a rotation day off during the week.
