Position Overview
A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a full‑time, non‑exempt Rotation Site Coordinator (Off‑site). The coordinator supports the KCOM clinical curriculum for years 3 and 4 and provides administrative support in the region. The role reports to the Director of Student Medical Education (DSME) and the Director of Clinical Affairs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of communication for students, addressing schedules, questions, concerns, and problems.

Schedule rotations, help develop overall student plans, and communicate with preceptors to confirm student activities in coordination with the on‑site coordinator.

Manage all paperwork for out‑of‑region rotations and circulate required documents to students.

Use the university‑identified electronic tracking program to maintain accurate rotation and student information.

Maintain a database of active preceptors for medical students.

Prepare letters of good standing, complete needed documents, facilitate affiliation agreements, and ensure all paperwork is processed for each student rotation.

Assist in the development of third‑ and fourth‑year student schedules and monitor progress through audits.

Collaborate with the on‑site coordinator to keep current contact information for students.

Track and follow up with students regarding exam results.

Provide a list of active preceptors for the annual recognition project in conjunction with the on‑site coordinator.

Generate reports related to site‑assigned students as needed.

Provide site‑specific information for campus publications (site guide, surveys, etc.) in partnership with the on‑site coordinator.

Assist with student site tours, orientation, and annual site visits as needed; attend the annual conference in Kirksville when available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience in business/management or a related combination of education and experience.

Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Typing, data entry, and multitasking abilities.

Experience using electronic databases to scan, store, and monitor entries.

Professionalism and the ability to handle stressful situations.

Problem‑solving skills.

Organized and detail‑oriented.

Commitment to excellent customer service.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Positive and flexible attitude.

Salary
$21.89 – $26.25 per hour.
