Praise & Worship Administrator
Job Overview: The Praise & Worship Administrator plays a vital role in the coordination, organization, and execution of all Praise & Worship Department operations. This position ensures seamless planning of services, rehearsals, and events while supporting leadership, facilitating team communication, and maintaining excellence in ministry execution.
In addition to administrative leadership, this role may include ministry responsibilities such as worship leading, training, and global missions support as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure alignment of all worship operations with church vision and leadership direction
Lead worship for assigned services and events, providing both spiritual and musical leadership
Ensure all teaching content and ministry responsibilities as assigned and aligned with leadership direction
Act as primary operational bridge between the Worship Pastor/Manager and team members
Oversee and ensure execution of all Praise & Worship administrative operations
Ensure operational efficiency across all worship planning and execution processes
Establish and enforce departmental processes, systems, and standards
Coordinate logistics for conferences, special events, tours, and recording projects
Ensure all necessary equipment, rooms, and resources are properly scheduled and reserved
Contribute to setlist planning, songwriting, and creative direction aligned with ministry vision
Participate in songwriting, music production, and creative development initiatives
Develop and organize song banks aligned with ministry themes and topics
Own and ensure accuracy of lyrics within Planning Center and other assets
Train and develop Leads in Training (LITs), including observation and feedback
Train and prepare worship teams for ministry in mission contexts
Draft and distribute professional communications, prepare meeting agendas, document notes, and track action items
Distribute setlists, charts, rehearsal materials, and service flow documents in a timely manner
Support the P&W manager with expense oversight and resource allocation
Evaluate and steward resources (equipment, subscriptions, materials) efficiently
Track contacts, participation, engagement, and service execution metrics
Provide regular reports and insights to Worship Pastor/leadership
Other duties may be assigned
May require traveling
Education and/or Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Music, Business, or related field
3–5 years of experience in worship ministry, church operations, or administration
Musical ability (vocals and/or instrument) with capacity to lead worship
Spiritual Qualifications
