Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and providing actionable insights to optimize costs, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency.

This is not a remote position , the successful candidate will need to work from our office in Newton, KS.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and prepare variance reports compared to budget and forecasts.

Develop and maintain financial models to support cash flow analysis.

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).

Support annual budgeting, including data collection, consolidation, and analysis.

Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory levels, variances, and turnover to ensure accurate and timely data.

Evaluate product costs, standard cost updates, and margin analysis in collaboration with Operations, Industry and Finance teams.

Identify cost‑saving opportunities through process improvements and data analysis.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.

Conduct cost‑benefit analysis for new projects, investments, and equipment purchases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA/CMA a plus).

2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong understanding of accounting standards, cost accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing operations.

Advanced Excel skills; advanced PowerPoint skills, experience with ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is preferred.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.

Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
