Forklift Operator Night Shift 7pm-7am (Seasonal)

Job Overview

At Niagara, we’re looking for Team Members who want to be part of achieving our mission to provide our customers the highest quality most affordable bottled water. You will work the night shift (7pm-7am) as a forklift operator, safely and efficiently loading and unloading trucks, pulling pallets of finished product from production lines, and placing finished products in the warehouse according to the onboard WMS system instructions.
Essential Functions

Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
Plan supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule and scheduling deliveries to the production area.
Retrieve supplies and materials by studying specifications, locating and verifying them, securing pallets on the truck, and moving pallets to the production location.
Maintain inventory in the production area by anticipating needs, tracking usage, and reporting discrepancies.
Clear the production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets out of the way.
Document actions by logging movements of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
Maintain a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Keep the forklift operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
0 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

Proof of ability to safely operate a sit‑down motorized forklift.
Ability to navigate within a WMS system.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

Education

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Associate’s Degree.
Certification / License

Required: Forklift certification.
Foreign Language

Preferred: Full Professional Proficiency.
Compensation Range

Hourly: $20.01 - $27.02.
