As a Ranger, you will work as a Maintenance Technician and support property operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and amenities.
Job Description
Make Ready Technician Role $21 per hour
Essential Responsibilities:
Complete assigned work orders within 24-48 hours and perform routine maintenance.
Complete the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments.
Support cost‑cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts.
Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and parts.
Document work accurately and timely.
Inspect contractors’ work for quality and compliance.
Comply with safety policies and attend safety meetings.
Provide customer service to residents.
Conduct routine property inspections.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours
Schedule: 40 hours per week; normal site hours 9 am‑6 pm Mon‑Fri, 10 am‑5 pm Sat, 1 pm‑5 pm Sun.
Essential Requirements
Available for weekend shifts.
Work under exposure to outdoor elements.
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
1‑3 years apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Skills:
Clear communication and customer service.
Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site).
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver’s license.
EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant recycling; state and local certifications as required.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs independently and 150 lbs with assistance.
Stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and squat frequently.
Perform keyboard work intermittently.
Travel:
local and occasional out‑of‑town travel.
