Location & Compensation
Buffalo, NY
Salary Range: $50,000 – $63,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure operational reliability, including:
CNC machines (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens controls)
Robotic assembly systems
PLC-controlled systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Testing equipment
Paint shop systems
Monitor equipment performance and operating parameters to ensure optimal functionality and uptime
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system failures in production and facility equipment
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS
Conduct inspections and document findings on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis
Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support site layout planning and equipment relocation
Participate in cross-functional teams to review repairs and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and increase MTBF
Support the integration of new equipment into existing production lines, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and operational readiness
Contribute to the implementation and ongoing improvement of TPM initiatives
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance and equipment handling
Qualifications
HS Diploma required; Applied Sciences 2-year degree preferred
Proven experience in maintaining CNC five-axis machines, robotics, and PLC programming
Extensive knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings
Proven troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Minimum of 3 years proven experience with CNC equipment maintenance
Authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Physical Demands
Requires precision handling of tools and machinery in a manufacturing setting
Hand and finger dexterity; standing and walking; ability to lift and move equipment as required
Exposure to hazardous equipment, contaminants, noise; use of protective equipment daily
