• Employment Type: Locum tenens / Per diem interventional radiologist job
• Location: Quincy, IL 62301 (Quincy, Illinois - Mississippi River / Midwest)
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: May 5, 2027
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (any time); schedule and start/end times may vary based on facility needs
• Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (holidays TBD); 1-day assignment with potential for ongoing locum needs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
• Hours per Week: 36

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) required
• Active, unrestricted medical license preferred; temporary privileges available for clean files
• Minimum: 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiologist or hospital-based IR practice
• Comfortable meeting productivity expectations (approximately 50 RVUs per shift)
• Proficiency with RPCE tech stack and Powerscribe preferred; prior experience with PACS and EPIC/EMR is a plus

Key Responsibilities - Interventional Radiologist (IR)

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures during scheduled shifts (IR procedures, vascular access, embolizations, drainages, etc.)
• Read and interpret diagnostic imaging studies within your competency between cases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary hospital team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Powerscribe and the facility EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards for radiology
