Responsibilities
Train new and temporary employees, and train existing employees on new protocols and procedures.
Perform the duties of the Operator positions: visually monitor the molding process to ensure proper procedure; remove molded parts from injection‑molding machines; perform gross‑defect inspections on parts and packaging to ensure they meet specifications.
Lift and carry totes and boxes; pack finished products in boxes in accordance with weight or count; affix the correct shipping label.
Verify line clearances and applicable documentation at the assigned machine.
Change materials at the machine (bags, daily supplies, etc.) and stock materials.
Work with the Shift Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient production.
Read, comprehend and maintain operating policies and procedures of the Company and requirements specified by FDA, OSHA and other governmental agencies.
Read and comprehend specifications, blueprints, instructions and written procedures.
Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
Perform other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or training role in a similar industry/environment.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices, all current Work Instructions and Product Specifications.
Ability to lift bags equal to or under 5 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Experience with a scale, tape gun, hand truck, digital caliper, digital micrometer and basic measurement devices.
Proficiency with the use of computer, including SAP, Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.12 – $30.82.
