Warehouse Person (Loader) Seasonal

Overview
PBNA $26.75 / hour

Seasonal role ending in September with a possibility of moving into full-time/permanent.

Responsibilities

Hand build pallets of product for bulk, and route trucks, with strict attention to order accuracy for outgoing and incoming trucks.

Use electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack.

Ensure accuracy in loading and comply with shipper/receiver documentation; follow warehouse instructions for building loads.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment; work across a wide variety of weather conditions; shift duration may vary with workload.

Transport truck loading: move full pallets onto trailers and remove returned pallets/plastic flats; unload raw materials to designated warehouse space.

Bulk truck loading: select designated packages/flavors, stack and shrink-wrap pallets; load onto trailers for local delivery; unload returned products.

Route truck loading: select designated packages/flavors or pallets based on salesperson orders; unload returned products and pallets/plastic flats.

Lift a high volume of cases (20–45 pounds each) repeatedly; perform standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping as product is moved.

Primary Job Accountabilities

Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick equipment (if applicable).

Mark load ticket for out-of-stock items.

Wrap pallet when finished.

Submit paperwork for check before loading and have truck checked.

Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.

Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.

Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.

Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.

Basic Qualifications

18 years or older.

Helpful Experience

Experience working in a warehouse environment (order selector/picking, storage, powered pallet jack/forklifts).

Experience driving a forklift (basic operations, maneuvering without damaging product).

Experience with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets, maximizing vertical storage.

Experience working in a team environment (cooperation, joint problem solving).
