Position Overview
Toledo Tool & Die, located near the Michigan/Ohio border, has diligently served the region since 1940. It was founded on one simple principle: to do the finest work possible for our clients and to deliver on every promise we make. Today, the company operates three facilities in the Toledo area and one in Pioneer, Ohio.

We are adding robotic weld operators to our team to support continued growth.

Location
This full‑time position is based in Toledo, Ohio.

Hours & Schedule

1st shift Monday – Friday 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekend, and some holidays).

Key Responsibilities

Start machines, monitor their operation to ensure it is processing properly, and record operational data for material tracking and record number of pieces produced with other documentation to run the machine.

Operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal material.

Load work pieces into machines.

Examine and inspect completed work pieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.

Read production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used to be compliant with customer specifications relative to dimensions and tolerances.

Verify and document dimensions of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments, including but not limited to calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.

Assist in completing simple to intermediate tasks associated with coil and die changes.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.

Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre‑employment screening (background check and drug screen).

Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).

Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred.

Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Report to work on time to support production startup.

Possess good physical stamina and coordination.

Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or climb for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift/push/pull objects that are up to 50 pounds.

Work as a team, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity.

Salary
$17.00 per hour.
