Press Operator / Tool Room Helper
Position: Press Operator / Tool Room Helper Wage: $25 - $30/hour Shift: 3rd Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Friday hours as needed) Schedule: Monday - Thursday
We are seeking candidates with a strong willingness to learn, especially individuals currently working as press operators or tool room helpers who are eager to advance their careers.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up and change dies for repairs and preventative maintenance
Support the Tool Room team with die changeovers
Handle start-up, shutdown, and changeovers for robotic and press equipment
Troubleshoot system functions and resolve problems as needed
Perform maintenance, basic cleaning, and minor adjustments to robotic end-of-arm tools, automation nests, and sensors
Guide robotic equipment through its operational path, including making minor adjustments to robot points
Ensure the robotic press line operates at optimal conditions
Reset and restore safety devices (e.g., emergency stops), and manage line start/stop procedures
Conduct safety and automation inspections
Cut banding on loads and perform labeling and final audits on finished products
Maintain accurate records, keep the work area clean, and remove scrap materials
Take on any other duties or tasks as assigned
