Process Technician I - 3rd Shift

Job Purpose

This position will perform tool changeovers, perform start-ups, provide technical expertise on molding floor, document changeovers, analyze data and write technical reports, recommend corrective actions through root cause analysis, perform minor tool and press maintenance, work closely with Engineering, Automation and Maintenance.
Duties And Responsibilities

Mold setting and change overs
Startup difficult molds, such as those with hydraulic core pulls or hard-to-run materials
Demonstrate a superior working knowledge of all presses
Document tooling changes made by filling out appropriate paperwork
Assist in solving problems using root cause analysis approach
Recommend corrective actions
Perform minor tool maintenance
Perform minor press maintenance
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Mold Tech training certifications
Working Conditions

Manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing, and frequent lifting and maneuvering of equipment heavier than 40 lbs.
