Position Overview
The Asphalt Raker is responsible for shaping, leveling, and smoothing asphalt during paving operations to ensure proper grade and finish.
Responsibilities
Spread and level hot mix asphalt using hand tools
Maintain proper depth, slope, and grade
Work closely with the paver operator and crew
Ensure smooth transitions and clean edges
Assist with hand patching and detail work
Qualifications
Prior asphalt paving experience preferred
Knowledge of asphalt depths, grades, and slopes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
