Job Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Litigation Legal Assistant to join their client's team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This full‑time, in‑office position requires a professional who can effectively support litigation teams across a broad range of tasks, ensuring smooth operations within a fast‑paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
Provide litigation support across a broad range of tasks, including assisting attorneys with litigation projects throughout all phases of litigation and trial preparation.
Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts.
Manage discovery tasks including electronic discovery and document organization.
Perform calendaring, docketing, and deadline tracking.
Assist with pleadings, motions, affidavits, exhibits, and appellate filings.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, mediators, and opposing counsel.
Proofread briefs and other legal materials.
Perform administrative duties as needed to support litigation teams.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal office (non‑negotiable).
Prior litigation experience is required.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software.
Paralegal certification preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required Work Hours
Full-time, in office, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑5:00 PM, with a one‑hour lunch break.
Compensation
$55,000‑$75,000 per year, non‑exempt, based on experience.
