
Patient Access Representative- Full Time- 6:30am MCH

Responsibilities
Provide efficient, timely, courteous registration services to ensure a high level of customer service.
Create a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while performing tasks of pre‑admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing or escorting patients, families or visitors.
Assist patients and their families in accessing services, acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.
Work 8‑hour shifts Onsite at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA – 6:30 am shift in the Maternity Department.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
0–2 years relevant experience in a medical/clinical/dental/hospital setting or customer service setting.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of Patient Access experience.
Data entry experience.
Familiar with health plans/insurance.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
The annual salary range for this position is $38,000.00–$63,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
