What You’ll Do
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide medication reminders as scheduled.
Support mobility and transfers using assistive devices (e.g., gait belt, Hoyer lift, walker, wheelchair).
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Ensure client safety, comfort, and supervision throughout the shift.
Maintain and support daily routines.
Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition to the care team or family.
Must-Have Requirements
1+ year of caregiver experience preferred (memory care, hospice, long-term care for seniors is a plus).
Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to work weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday; hours may vary).
Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
Reliable transportation to Wheeling, IL.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility.
