Job Overview
This role is essential for ensuring accurate and efficient commission payouts through day-to-day operational support, issue resolution, and process analysis and improvement within commission operations. It primarily involves supporting commission operations through research and resolution of commission-related inquiries, analyzing issues, and identifying process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. The role liaises between internal partners including systems, testing, reporting, and human resources compensation design, and serves as a key contact for frontline support teams. Success is measured by the accuracy of commission payouts, timely issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The work directly impacts financial accuracy and employee compensation satisfaction through reliable commission management.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze commission processes and support day-to-day operations with a focus on researching and resolving inquiries, identifying improvements, and ensuring accurate payouts.
Lead and support projects related to commission operations to enhance process efficiency.
Serve as a liaison between frontline support teams and internal partners including systems, testing, reporting, and compensation design teams.
Validate system data loads and commission payouts, conduct impact assessments, and research and resolve payout issues, including exception-based adjustments and inquiries.
Provide analytical support to management and program teams, including research and resolution of inquiries and identification of trends to inform process improvements.
Other duties or projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
4-7 years Operations or Commissions experience (Preferred)
Demonstrated analytical experience (Required)
Strong attention to detail (Required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management (Required)
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing demands (Required)
Ability to influence others (Preferred)
Ability to work independently and with a team (Preferred)
Change Management experience (Preferred)
Process Improvement experience (Preferred)
Working knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Preferred)
Understanding of multiple system development life-cycle methodologies (Preferred)
Understanding of business and system processes within multiple knowledge areas (Preferred)
Wireless Telecom experience (Preferred)
Previous experience in customer escalations (Preferred)
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Range (Overland Park, KS): $69,700 - $94,300
Base Pay Range: $64,000 - $115,500
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience.
