The stunning Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons is looking to add a Building Maintenance Technician to its Engineering team. This 164-room property was built in 2018, and we are looking for the right candidate to help us maintain its beauty.
The ideal candidate will have general knowledge and understanding of building maintenance and electrical, a genuine passion to grow and develop a career in the engineering field, the ability to work quickly and effectively both alone or as part of a team, reliable and have good customer service skills. A formal HVAC related certification would be a bonus!
Shift Pattern
This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
Pay
Starting at $18 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery and/or equipment.
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
