Overview
Parts Authority is hiring for Warehouse Associates in Piscataway, NJ. Hourly rate: $18.00. This is a 3rd shift position: 10:00 pm – 8:00 am.

Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
Inspecting stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
Organizing the warehouse space.
Preparing orders for shipment and picking items for shipment.
Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
Operating stock management tools, including powered equipment and pallet jacks.
Counting stock and maintaining inventory records.
Routine cleaning duties.
Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach.
Occasionally sit and climb (ladders and/or stairs) or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions, with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May need to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Attention to detail and good communication skills.
Time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work well with others and with supervision.
Open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime.
1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse; maintain and promote workplace safety.
