Shift Schedule
Wed – Sat 5pm – 5am

Responsibilities
Responsible for safely operating resin manufacturing and processing equipment to produce quality resins used in paint products. Works under the direction of the Resin Leads and the Resin Manager.
Follows all safety, environmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Uses all required safety equipment.
Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Maintains raw material inventory by transferring materials from the warehouse or bulk storage tanks to the resin process area.
Processes all resins in a properly cleaned reactor, following batch instructions and standard operating procedures for adding raw material ingredients to process resins, latex emulsions, and all other related polymers. Procedures include opening and closing valves, checking gauges for material flow and temperature, starting and stopping pumps, agitators, fans, and blowers, determining heat and cooling requirements, and performing quality checks to process resins for proper formula specifications.
Monitors the batch process by taking data readings using electronic information systems, and takes batch samples for quality control testing. Testing is performed according to guidelines and standard test methods.
Records data as prescribed. Adjusts batch quality as necessary; calibrates, adjusts, and monitors lab testing equipment according to prescribed guidelines.
After production batch is completed and quality approved, properly filters and transfers material to storage tanks.
Cleans the reactor as prescribed by SOP.
Must comply with 5S and facility housekeeping requirements (painting, chipping floors, relocation of equipment and raw materials, cleanup of hardened resin and other materials, etc.).
Ensures all safety, environmental and regulatory guidelines and rules are known and followed; all required safety equipment is available and used as prescribed. Promptly addresses issues related to safety and actively coaches and reinforces safety expectations with the team.
Manages hazardous and non‑hazardous waste per regulations as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school degree required.
Prior working experience and knowledge associated with chemical manufacturing.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times throughout a 12‑hour shift as needed.
Must be able to climb ladders as needed.
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts 3–4 days per week and overtime as needed.
Forklift experience strongly preferred.
Competency and confidence utilizing applicable computerized systems such as MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP.
Physical Effort and Dexterity
Frequency of physical activity throughout shift: frequent sitting, standing, bending/twisting of neck and waist, squatting and kneeling; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects from floor, conveyor, vehicle, table, or overhead location; occasional lifting of 10–75 lbs. (1–3+ hours) throughout the shift. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment such as eye protection, safety shoes and full face respirator.

Compensation Philosophy
Benjamin Moore provides a competitive base salary and eligible performance‑based annual raise & bonus. Salary ranges are determined through market data and internal comparisons.
Pay Range
USD $24.00 – $31.80 /hr.
