Shift & Schedule
1st Shift (8‑12 hour shift).
Responsibilities
Communication: Articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Practice active listening; reframe what has been said to clarify meaning; be mindful of body language; be clear about the point you are trying to make.
Conflict resolution: Manage and resolve conflicts constructively and respectfully.
Problem solving: Identify and analyze problems and produce effective solutions.
Time management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with others towards a common goal, taking into account different perspectives and strengths.
Essential Functions
Safely load and unload bulk liquids to and from delivery vehicles, maintaining the quality and integrity of bulk liquids in storage.
Ensure all bulk liquids meet loading and unloading quality requirements prior to loading or unloading, following guidelines and standard test methods.
Calibrate, adjust and monitor lab testing equipment in accordance with prescribed guidelines; record data as prescribed.
Unload bulk liquids from delivery vehicles to designated storage tanks using pumps, filters, and valves.
Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness prior to loading and load bulk liquids from storage to delivery vehicles using pumps, filters, and valves.
Complete shipping paperwork, ensuring delivery vehicles and paperwork meet DOT and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Monitor transfers to ensure proper quantities are transferred, tanks or delivery vehicles are not overfilled, and no leaks or spills occur; promptly report leaks and spills or clean up as required.
Assist with other material handling activities including restocking non-bulk raw materials, transporting empty containers to the proper disposal area, transporting and disposing of waste materials in the proper area.
Follow all safety, environmental and regulatory policies, procedures, and guidelines; use required safety equipment as prescribed; address issues related to safety and actively coach and reinforce safety expectations with the team.
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
Maintain raw‑material inventory by transferring materials from the warehouse or bulk storage tanks to the resin process area.
Comply with 5S and facility housekeeping requirements (painting, chipping floors, relocating equipment and raw materials, cleaning hardened resin and other materials, etc.).
Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste per regulations as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior working experience and knowledge associated with chemical manufacturing; experience offloading and loading large vehicles with chemicals is a plus.
Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times throughout an 8‑12 hour shift as needed.
Must be able to climb ladders as needed.
Strong preference for forklift and trailer jockey experience.
Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required.
Competency and confidence using applicable computerized systems such as MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP.
Physical Effort and Dexterity
Frequent sitting, standing, bending/twisting of neck and waist, squatting and kneeling.
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects from floor, conveyor, vehicle, table, or overhead location.
Occasional lifting of 10‑75 lbs. (1‑3+ hours) throughout shift.
Ability to wear required PPE such as eye protection, safety shoes and full face respirator.
Must be willing to work assigned shift, plus overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Compensation Philosophy
Benjamin Moore provides a comprehensive total rewards package. In addition to a competitive base salary, every exempt and non-exempt role is eligible for a performance-based annual raise and bonus, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, job location, and other factors.
