
Quality Tech/Auditor, Clutches

Summary
To ensure all products shipped to the consumer meet or exceed expectations. The Auditor will be responsible for inline verifier failure mode testing, working with production personnel to identify failure points on verification equipment and report findings professionally and accurately.
Responsibilities
Support production by inspecting and verifying failure modes of critical gaging
Schedule and enter daily critical audits
Ensure correct verification fixture testing and maintenance schedules
Make necessary recommendations for process improvements
Verify Manufacturing Department materials and parts against written specifications within established tolerances
Work overtime or vary working hours as needed
Attend company‑provided training
Cross‑train in other quality positions to back‑up or assist other quality personnel as necessary
Challenge nonconforming product using proper chain of command and hold tag procedures
Work with measuring and production tools
Prepare layout sheets, RMO's, shipping orders and order supplies for QA Lab as necessary
Provide help with rework projects as the quality inspector for all completed rework
Maintain or input quality data/files as required (e.g., QA files, PPAP audit results, FAIR's, RMO's, deviations, PQR's)
Communicate to appropriate personnel any necessary issues, findings, etc.

Knowledge
Familiar with parts, tolerances, dimensions, problem areas, various inspection equipment, read prints, and quality terminology
Working knowledge of PC software programs (Word Processing, spreadsheets, database, email) including the ability to enter and retrieve data
Ability to manage conflict and solve problems independently
Responsible, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and able to work with limited supervision
Flexibility to cover other shifts when needed
Performance history of quality‑conscious work, good attendance and safe work habits
Experience & Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
Willingness to travel for extended periods of time for training
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required
Technical (trades certificate/diploma) or equivalent training preferred

Base Pay Range
$23.43 - $27.93
