
Dispatcher

Description
Under the general supervision of Integrated Services Manager works to coordinate service requests for Support Services. Receives telephone requests and determines appropriate action for each request based on knowledge of Support Services resources and scope of service. Dispatches assignments to various Support Service personnel via work order system and coordinates patient transports by monitoring transport requests, and directing activities of transporters. Provides overall internal and external telecommunication services, including all 711 emergency calls for both Mission Hospital campuses in a professional and timely manner. Coordinates all emergency codes/alerts with perspective departments. Monitors and responds to both clinical and non-clinical alarm systems.
Required Qualifications
6 months Experience in customer service or dispatching or operator functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree
1 year Hospital related PBX or Call Center experience.
