3rd Shift Shipping/ Receiving

Job Summary
This position is responsible for picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, shipping of customer orders, loading/unloading trucks, supporting the paint process (loading/unloading, part labeling, inventory transactions, part inspection), assembling small parts and operating bushing presses.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools
Handle parts as necessary to meet production standards.
Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
Perform source inspection
Perform daily TPM
Use stop‑the‑line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns
Perform daily duties per work instructions / standard work
Complete all daily data collection as established
Perform daily 5S activities
Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements
Must be able to read blueprints
Must have good understanding of inventory control
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license
Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner
Ability to understand what constitutes quality products
Possess basic math skills
Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall
Must be computer literate
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience Requirements
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures
