We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving personnel member who assists with the flow of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate inventory records, inspection for damage, and proper documentation. Key duties include loading/unloading trucks, packing shipments, updating computer systems, and collaborating with carriers.

Shift: Mon-Fri (8-5) Sat (9-2)
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Receiving:
Unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting damage, and entering data into inventory systems.
Shipping:
Packaging, labeling, and weighing outgoing items, preparing bills of lading, and arranging carrier pickups.
Inventory Control:
Sorting, organizing, and stocking warehouse shelves; conducting accurate stock counts.
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate logs of daily transactions, invoices, and shipping records.
Safety & Maintenance:
Operating forklifts or pallet jacks, keeping the loading dock clean, and adhering to safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Physical Strength:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods.
Technical Skills:
Experience with computerized inventory systems, scanners, and software (e.g., MS Office).
Communication:
Effective communication with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
Attention to Detail:
High accuracy in checking shipment contents and documentation.
Common Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or shipping experience.
Forklift certification is often required or preferred.
