Payroll Analyst (Temporary to Hire)
Nashville, TN
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our client’s payroll team. This is a temporary-to-hire role with an on-site schedule.
Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy through thorough review of payroll reports and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
Partner with the payroll team to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance payroll operations.
Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and coordinate adjustments to ensure timely and accurate pay.
Enter and maintain payroll data in Workday, including garnishments, child support orders, and tax levies.
Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to support internal and external audits by providing requested payroll data and documentation.
Maintain current knowledge of payroll best practices and industry standards.
Support payroll tax functions, including deposits, quarterly and annual filings, and year-end processing and distribution of W-2s.
Assist in onboarding new oncology practices by collaborating with payroll and integration teams to convert payroll operations to Workday.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of multi-state, multi-entity payroll processing experience.
Proven experience with Workday payroll system.
Experience with multi-state, multi-entity (FEIN) payroll processing, tax reconciliation, payments, and filings.
Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
$27-$32 per hour, depending on experience. Eligibility for discretionary bonuses and participation in the company’s medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as 401(k) retirement plan.
