Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Manufacturing / Standard Costing / 13-Week Cash Flow) | West Chester, OH

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes.

Create and maintain 13‑week and long‑term cash flow forecasts; consolidate BU and corporate outlooks for accurate liquidity planning.

Own board and lender covenant reporting and liquidity analytics.

Consolidate BU and corporate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.

Lead monthly management reporting and re‑forecasting; monitor the month‑end close cycle with analytical review of plant performance and variances to budget/forecast.

Partner with operations on SIOP development and ongoing execution.

Develop, set, and manage Standard Costing at the machine‑cell level.

Forecast and analyze corporate overhead expenses.

Prepare monthly board of directors presentation support.

Develop and implement analytical support tools for operations and commercial teams to drive performance optimization.

Partner with the CFO to implement strategic finance initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Provide proactive communications on macroeconomic/business trends and recommend actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (MBA or CPA/CMA a plus).

Minimum five years of accounting and/or finance experience, with a focus on FP&A.

Experience supporting a manufacturing organization required.

Hands‑on experience developing, setting, and managing Standard Costing at the machine‑cell level (required).

Experience with cube‑based reporting systems (HFM, Essbase, Hyperion or similar) required.

Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Experience with 13‑week cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning strongly preferred.

Strong analytical and data/process‑driven mindset with attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative, results‑oriented environment.

Proven ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships; communicate clearly, collaboratively, and persuasively.

Time‑management skills to prioritize multiple activities and deadlines.

Experience presenting to executive leadership / board strongly preferred.
