• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Call: 1:2 rotation, weekdays 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekend 3:00 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Santa Monica, CA
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures including OR assistance
• Perform radical and endoscopic vein harvesting
• Manage ICU/step-down patients
• Interpret EKGs, X-rays, laboratory results, ECMO, IABP & Impella
• Conduct patient rounds and manage clinic duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Active CA Physician Assistant license with CA DEA
• Must be able to perform vein harvesting and other specified surgical tasks
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Board Certification required

Working Hours

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call rotation

• Proficient in interpreting advanced cardiac monitoring
• Skilled in surgical assistance in high-acuity settings
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities
• Experience with handling critical care equipment and procedures
